The Arbor Project combines forward-thinking urban design and cutting-edge technology to reimagine main street.

We started with the mission to transform a boarded-up building on Main Street into a hub for nonprofits and social entreprenuers that would power the next generation of our city’s growth.

Then we cultivated a coalition of industry, academic, and community leaders to create a shared vision for Downtown Merced that achieves new standards of sustainability, affordability, and economic opportunity.
